Situated on the ancient site of Thebes, the Valley of the Kings is the ancient burial ground of many of Egypt’s New Kingdom rulers, the most famed collection of tombs.
Hatshepsut temple is a reflection of the mortuary temple of Mentuhotep II and was constructed alongside that 11th dynasty structure.
The twin statues depict Amenhotep III (fl. 14th century BC) in a seated position.
It consists of four main parts, of which only the largest is currently open to the public. The term Karnak is often understood as being the Precinct of Amun-Re only because this is the only part most visitors see.
Meet our agent with a small group from Hurghada in the early morning heading to start your journey in the capital of the pharaohs to explore the most important historical monuments in Luxor.
So that Hop out on the West Bank and discover tombs of the ancient pharaohs such as the valley of kings on the west bank of Luxor The valley stands on the west bank of the Nile, opposite Thebes (modern Luxor), within the heart of the Theban Necropolis. There you will visit the remarkable tombs and last resting place of the Kings Ramssess III, Ramssess IV, and Mrenptah.
